SoundForgePro Official 15-day trial

Author and tester

Erick Finn

Independent music producer and Sound Forge Pro editor. Erick Finn is an independent music producer who tests Sound Forge Pro for waveform editing, restoration, mastering and Windows audio workflows.

I am based in Germany and have written, recorded and mixed my own material since the mid-2010s, usually in home studios where the hardware is never as tidy as the signal-flow diagram. Sound Forge is the editor I open for mastering, restoration and post-production on individual files.

I started this site after Boris FX acquired Sound Forge from MAGIX in March 2026 because too many useful searches still ended on a Sony-era menu path or an old installer. Each guide names the build, the menu path and the result I checked. Product facts link to the vendor page used that day; corrections stay visible. Reach me through Facebook or X.
